
Queen's has been congratulated for its grant administration following a review undertaken by Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

The first meeting of the University's new Senate was held on 25 January 2018, following its reconstitution with effect from 1 January 2018.



Research Councils UK (RCUK) has undertaken a Funding Assurance Review during the period February to April 2017.

The University is on track to exceed its £68.3m research income target for this academic year. The current estimate for 2016-17 is £69.1m with the total number of awards likely to be in excess of 600 for the year.

Queen’s University Belfast has reinforced its commitment to environmental sustainability by joining other universities across the globe in aspiring to disinvest from fossil fuels.
