New Virtual Learning Environment to support student learning experience
The University has a procured a new Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that will enable staff to harness innovative technology to support the student learning experience.

Following a rigorous procurement process, the University has approved the adoption of Canvas, the next generation of virtual learning environments.
Professor David Jones, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and Students, said:
"The implementation of a new Virtual Learning Environment is a KPI in our Corporate Plan and a key element in enhancing the learning experience for all our students. The procurement of Canvas is a milestone in our ambition to become a digital university."
