MHLS welcomes Chinese students

The Faculty of Medicine Health and Life Sciences recently welcomed 16 promising students from China Queen's College (CQC) for a one-week long information-gathering trip.
The 16 students are currently undertaking Queen's degrees in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at CQC, which is a partnership between Queen's and China Medical University, and were visiting Queen's to explore postgraduate opportunities.
Their visit included comprehensive and informative visits to the School of Pharmacy, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and the Centre for Experimental Medicine.
The students were also treated to a taste of Northern Ireland with a reception at Belfast City Hall, a trip to the Giant's Causeway and an evening of traditional music, among other social activities.
The trip was a big success with many of the students indicating an early desire to take up postgraduate study at Queen's Belfast. Watch this space!
