University Assessment Policy

The University’s Assessment Policy establishes a code of good practice for the assessment of undergraduate and taught postgraduate degrees, including collaborative programmes and the taught components of professional doctorates.

The Policy contains ten principles, and guidelines on how each of the ten principles can be implemented in full.

Guidance on Assessment and Feedback

The Assessment and Feedback pages of the Centre for Educational Development website identify best practice. They are designed to assist staff in developing their assessment and feedback practices so that the student experience is enhanced.   Where possible, examples of good practice from across the University are provided.
