The Qsis Support Desk is the first point of contact for all student system queries/issues.
Qsis for New Users
All administrative users of Qsis need to attend the Fundamentals Part 1 (previously called Basics) training. These courses are held monthly. The course is followed up by Fundamentals Part 2 training/workshop six weeks later. Documentation and simulations in this section contain information for novice users on navigation and terminology.
Some areas of Qsis require staff to complete a SharePoint form.
The Qsis Support Team provides documentation materials for Qsis for staff and students. Documents include Solutions sheets, Slides, training material, Qsis Updates, FAQs and the E&R Manual. Simulations are provided across the system.
Qsis Fundamentals (formerly Basics) is provided monthly with a follow up session six weeks later. All other Qsis training is provided according to the academic calendar. Training is generally provided 1-2 weeks prior to the users needing to use that particular functionality in Qsis. Beginners and refreshers are always provided for all functionality. Occasionally when new functionality is released, users are required to attend compulsory training.
