Belfast Pride Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Belfast and runs over 100 events across 10 days.
This year’s festival runs from Friday 27th July and will run to Sunday 5th August with Pride Day and the centrepiece Pride Parade taking place on Saturday 4th August 2018.
This year, a large number of employers are participating in the Parade and we are delighted that Queen’s staff will again be taking its place at this year’s Parade.
Queen's University staff (including friends, family and partners of staff) are invited to attend the Parade to show their visible commitment to PRISM, the staff LGBT+ Network at QUB and to the wider LGBT community.

LGBT staff and allies (i.e those who are not from the LGBT community but who support equality and diversity and their LGBT colleagues) from Allen and Overy, Allstate, BT, Deloitte, Pinsent Masons, PWC and the Northern Ireland Civil Service, amongst others will be taking part.
However, we are asking that all QUB staff who wish to walk in the Parade register their attendance at the Parade and details of registration are available on Eventbrite

It is anticipated that there will be high levels of demand to attend the Parade so would encourage staff to register by midday Monday 30th July 2018.
If you would like to contact someone in Queen's about attending the Parade, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively ring extension 1046 and speak to Fiona O'Connell from the Diversity and Inclusion Unit.
