Following UEB's approval of the People and Culture Strategy, People First, which includes a new approach to recruitment, the HR Directorate is now implementing the approved recommendations. These include the launch of the new Appointments Procedure and the establishment of a dedicated Resourcing team. The redesigned procedure will be adopted for recruitment campaigns from week commencing 23 April, with bespoke support delivered by the Head of Resourcing for Panel Chairs. Weekly Refresher Selection Interview Training will be rolled out in May 2018, along with the updated mandatory training for all new staff.
The training has been designed to provide an update on the HR Appointments Procedure, duties and responsibilities of the dedicated Internal Recruiters.
