As priorities emerge from the People and Culture Strategy (People First) and the Staff Survey, it is timely to review our provision of leadership and management development.   
 
A working group has been set up to design a Leadership and Management Framework for Queen’s which outlines the responsibilities, skills, knowledge and desired behaviours required to be an effective leader at Queen’s University.  
 
This framework will then be used to help design a range of “Connected Leaders” development opportunities to enable Queen’s leaders carry out their current roles effectively and help prepare them for future roles.  Once feedback has been received from staff and other stakeholders, the new range of programmes, available from 2019 onwards will provide opportunities for development for all levels of leader.
