Facilities_231W_152HAccommodation - Queen’s Accommodation and Hospitality manages a range of self-contained apartments within easy walking distance of the University campus which are offered for rent to support new staff members on a short term basis to facilitate a settling-in period to living in Belfast.

Child Care Services - Childcare Services at Queen's offer compassionate, professional care for children in a fun and loving environment. The crèches are monitored on a regular basis by the Early Years Team from the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust who has commended the high standard of care delivered and the professionalism of the staff.

Summer Schemes - The University operates a Summer Scheme for children aged 6-14 for seven weeks of the summer holidays.  The children of staff and students are offered places on this popular scheme at reduced rates. 

Library Facilities - Staff of Queen's are automatically members of the Library.  The McClay Library brings together wide-ranging library, computing and media services in a single location, blending the best features of a traditional library with the latest technology. The library's extensive book and journal collections support teaching and research in the arts and humanities, science and engineering, the social sciences and law.

Smart Card/ID - Your Staff Smart Card (SSC) allows you to access a range of services including, electronic payment for a number of services, Queens Sport membership, entry to Queen’s Film Theatre.  Staff cards are issued by Human Resources.

Lifelong Learning - The University is committed to providing staff with opportunities to learn throughout their career.  Learning and Development (previously STDU) and the School of Education can provide more information on the wide range of options available.
