Eligibility to Work and Preventing Illegal Working
The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 places a legal responsibility on employers to prevent illegal working and to only employ/ engage to work those who have a Right to Work in the UK. As a result, Queen’s, as an employer, must check that all employees/ workers are entitled to work in the UK.
