  • How do I enrol for a course?

You can enrol online and pay for your course using a credit or debit card. Please note that it is imperative that you only register yourself for a course.  If you purchase a course for an acquaintance, that person will not be fully registered.  Their name will not appear on the class register and they will not receive emails providing information about the course. Courses will only run if there is sufficient demand and some courses will require a textbook.

A link to our registration system will be available once enrolment opens. Check our home page to see if enrolment is currently open or closed: Enrolment Status

Language Centre courses run twice per year starting in October and February. Enrolment is available online from the September and November preceding the course start date. Early enrolment is recommended as courses are popular and often fill up quickly.

    Initiatives for International Staff

Staff HandbookQueen’s University aims to provide our overseas staff with a working environment which fosters mutual understanding and encourages intellectual growth and stimulation. The Language Centre along with Staff Training and Development Unit developed and produced a handbook (available to download please see link below) specifically for new International staff.

The handbook has been designed and tailored to provide staff with essential guidance and support on practical and cultural issues relating to Belfast and Northern Ireland. The handbook specifically contains useful information on Northern Ireland, living in Belfast, going out in Belfast and getting around Belfast.
