Staff, postgraduate research and generic email accounts are being moved to the Exchange Online service hosted by Microsoft. Undergraduate and postgraduate taught students’ email accounts are already hosted on Exchange Online. This migration will provide several improvements for staff and PGR students:
- Increased email storage (50GB)
- Updated webmail interface
- Expandable archive mailbox to store email
- Better integration with Office 365 features and access to additional tools such as Office 365
- Improved calendar integration with student users
- Additional anti-virus and spam protection from Microsoft
- Exchange Online is regularly updated by Microsoft with additional features
