Please note - Temporary change to editing OneNote Notebooks in Microsoft Teams
Please be advised that Microsoft have introduced a temporary change which prevents OneNote Notebooks being edited within Microsoft Teams. In order to edit the Notebook the user must click on ‘Click here to edit your notebook’. The OneNote Notebook can be edited using the OneNote App, Office 365 or the OneNote Desktop Client.
Please note - Temporary change to editing WORD documents in Microsoft Teams
Please be advised that Microsoft have rolled out a temporary change which prevents WORD documents being edited within Microsoft Teams. Now when you click on a WORD document in Teams, the document will open in view mode. The options to edit are:
- Click on ‘Edit’ in the top right corner to edit the WORD document using Word Online or
- Click on ‘More Options (…)’ in the top right corner and select ‘Open in Desktop App’ to edit the WORD document using your Word desktop client (for users with Office installed on their device)
