Visits are permitted from members of the public who cannot otherwise obtain access to the printed material they need. If you wish to apply for visitor access, you will need to complete an online Visitor Registration Form to obtain a visitor pass.
- This pass is valid for one month and is non-renewable.
- You will be required to provide proof of your identity and your address when you visit the Library.
- Parents/guardians please note that children are not permitted in study areas.
Researchers wishing to use Special Collections material should contact staff there in advance of their visit. Further information is available on the Special Collections web pages and on the Special Collections libguide.
Access to Queen’s electronic resources is not usually available due to licensing restrictions and, some Queen’s collections are restricted to members of Queen’s University.
Any Library user who does not have a Smartcard will need to purchase a Visitor Printing Card before printing, photocopying or scanning. These can be purchased for £2.00 and are already pre-loaded with 75p worth of credit. You should retain the card after use so that you can continue to load money onto the card at a later stage
