Priority Seating in the McClay Library has been set up for selected students for whom it is essential that they are guaranteed a seat in a silent reading space.

The desk booking facility is available for 6 desks in Silent Study Room B on the ground floor of the McClay Library.

The desks may be used by anyone but, if the desk is booked, there will be a sign on it telling you the time that is required. Please be assured if you are asked to give up your priority seat, the person making the request will have a genuine need, and we very much appreciate your cooperation.

Students eligible for priority seating are identified by Disability Services.
