The QUB School of Medicine has taken out a 1-year subscription to the clinical point of care tool BMJ Best Practice. This replaces the School's previous subscription to UpToDate, an alternative point of care tool.

The first time you access BMJ Best Practice, please do so via the QUB Library website:
  1. Go to
  2. Click Databases A-Z (on the grey Quick Links bar)
  3. Click B, then on BMJ Best Practice - this will take you to
  4. Log in with your QUB details
Once you are logged in via QUB, you need to set up a personal BMJ Best Practice account, after which you will be able, in future, to sign in directly at and also to use the BMJ Best Practice app.
