The Library needs your feedback on clinical point of care tools!

In March, the Library is inviting QUB students and staff to compare 2 point of care tools, UpToDate and BMJ Best Practice.

Both contain up-to-date knowledge summaries, and tools such as clinical calculators, to help you to keep on top of the latest diagnosis and treatment strategies.

After using and comparing UpToDate and BMJ Best Practice, you are asked to complete a short survey, indicating your preference.

Quick links to the point of care tools and survey are below:

For more information, including short videos on accessing and using UpToDate and BMJ Best Practice, please go to:

These tools, and this evaluation exercise, will be of most relevance to medical students, but feedback from other Schools (e.g. Nursing & Midwifery and Pharmacy) would also be welcome.

If you have any questions, please contact Richard Fallis, Subject Librarian for Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences:
