Using the Library during the Christmas vacation

We are here to help you access the resources you need for your studies, regardless of whether you are staying in Belfast or heading home for the holidays.

Staying in Belfast?

We will be open for some of the vacation period:

We are following University and NI Executive guidelines and it is now mandatory to wear a face covering in the Library, even when seated at a study desk or PC.

You can browse the shelves and issue items using our self-service kiosks, and return items using the book return machine on the ground floor.

Help with library resources

Although the Library is closed for part of the Christmas vacation, you can still access help from a variety of sources if you are struggling to find what you need. You may wish to access our Frequently Asked Questions to see if your question has been previously asked. Your subject guide and also the e-resources guide may also help you troubleshoot some problems and get you back on track.
