Development Weeks - Active Participant
The Student Development Weeks provide an opportunity for you to participate in taster sessions, guidance workshops or longer more intensive, experiential activities such as leadership courses, field trips, workplace study tours, and work shadowing.
To be eligible for Combined Experience (Formerly Route B) Degree Plus accreditation, the student must engage in a minimum of 8 hours of activity which can be made up of a combination of day long, half day and/or 1 or 2 hour events that add up to 8 hours or more of activity.
Students participating in Development Weeks activities (minimum 8 hours) and who wish to use this towards Combined Experience Degree Plus accreditation must download the EVENT ATTENDANCE LOG and bring it with them to each event that they attend. Event hosts will either provide students with an event code to include on the form or can sign the sheet. One OR the other will be sufficient evidence of your attendance.
The fully completed log should then be saved and submitted as part of the student’s final Degree Plus Combined Experience application form before 1st April in the year of graduation for summer graduations and 1st November for winter graduations. This log will count towards 50% of your final Degree Plus Combined Experience application.
