QUB Mooting

QUB Mooting

Mooting is a form of legal debate in which competitors apply the law to fictitious scenarios and moot the points of law at issue in an appellate court setting.

Each mooter must be able to conduct extensive legal research, write up a skeleton argument and then effectively advocate their case in front of a judge (often a QC or high court judge).
