Student Residential Assistant
Queens employs Student Resident Assistants across our accommodation sites as part of our commitment to; improving the student experience, building a strong resident student community in which cultural diversity is promoted and improving the services offered to all our residents.
Student Resident Assistants are the first point of contact for students who may have concerns about their accommodation, or some other aspect of their student lives. When necessary, Resident Assistants will signpost students for other University services, Students’ Union Services and appropriate external services that are available to support students address any difficulties they may face.
In addition to supporting new students settle into their accommodation and Belfast, Resident Assistants will proactively plan events, facilitate trips, and volunteer time to work at the coffee bar social spaces.
Student Residential Assistant contracts are typically of 9 months duration during term time and/or 3 months during summer vacation.
