Study Tour - Brussels

Brussels Study Tour

Spend five days in Brussels in May visiting a range of EU Institutions and employer workplaces.

Tour consists of structured visits providing workplace insights to include work practices, people and environments. 

Through this programme you can expect to:

  • Find out first-hand about a career at the heart of Europe
  • Network with recent graduates and alumni
  • Get valuable tips from recruiters and professionals
  • Find out about summer internships, placements and graduate opportunities
  • Join like-minded students in this unique insight into working in Brussels

A Route A Degree Plus accredited activity.

Eligibility*:  Open to registered students (all levels) from the following Schools: Arts, English & Languages (AEL), History, Anthropology, Philosophy & Politics (HAPP), School of Law, Queen’s Management School and Social Sciences, Education & Social Work (SSESW).  However places may be available to students from other faculties with a specific aim to work within the European Institutions or with the organisations related to the Tour programme.

*Preference will be given to students who have not already participated in a previous subsidised Workplace Study Tour during the course of your degree e.g. London Law tour, Finance Tour, Germany tour, Career Connections, Biosciences or Global Leadership Experience (Kuala Lumpur/Hong Kong).

 

All students applying must be available to attend a compulsory pre-departure ½ day workshop.

 

Cost: Approximately £150 per student which includes return flight, airport transfer and accommodation including breakfast

How to Apply: Complete the Application Form and upload to MyFuture - Dates for 2019/2020 are to be confirmed. 

Successful applicants will be advised by email to their Queen’s account.

The top 24 applications will be offered a place on the programme.

A non-refundable deposit of £50 will be required to secure your place.

Remainder payment (£100) will be required before departure.
