Inspiring Leaders has been developed by Queen’s Students’ Union and is supported by Careers, Employability and Skills and the William J. Clinton Leadership Institute at Queen’s. It has evolved from the success of the Students’ Union’s Volunteer Academy.
Inspiring Leaders will target student volunteers to support the development of their leadership skills and to help them translate their leadership and volunteering experiences into employability skills. This will ensure that Queen’s students who are contributing valuable time to the Queen’s and local/global community will have tangible skills development support which will help them stand out from their peers when it comes to graduate careers.
This programme will be unique to students at Queen’s as it is endorsed by the William J. Clinton Leadership Institute who will provide a certificate of attendance to participants upon completion.
Each participant’s volunteering contribution will be tracked as this is a core requirement of the programme and thus enabling students to achieve Millennium Volunteers recognition.
