Sólás After School Support Volunteer

Students will be expected to volunteer for one 3 hour afternoon session (3pm-6pm) per week for a 30 week period in one of Sólás Special Needs After School Club settings, including Donegall Pass Community Centre on Aspley Street, and Ballynafeigh Community House on Ormeau Road OR;

A three hour session each Saturday morning for a period of 30 weeks, in our "Time for Me" programme which is a club for children with Special Needs and their siblings; and will take place in Shaftesbury Recreation Centre and St John Vianney's Youth Club on Balfour Avenue.

 *The 30 weeks excludes week break due to mid-term at Halloween, two week break at Christmas, week long mid-term in February and two week break at Easter.

Total contact hours in setting over the year is 90 hours.

Student volunteers will also be expected to attend our mandatory induction training and Child Protection training which will take place in the evening to accommodate student timetables.
