Alumni Career Mentorning Scheme (participating as a mentee)

Final and pre-final year undergraduates and postgraduates at Queen's can apply to participate in the Alumni Career Mentoring Scheme.

Alumni career mentors are graduates of Queen's who are employed in a managerial, professional, or other relevant job role and are willing to share details of their own career path and experiences since graduation. Mentors help their student mentees to reflect more effectively on their career development plan and to view it from the perspective of a potential graduate employer.

The mentor is not a Careers Adviser. However, they may provide some constructive comment, based on their own experience, regarding the opportunities that the student is considering and the progress that they have already made towards these.
