Nursing and Midwifery Research Internship Scheme

Nursing and Midwifery Research Internship Scheme

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop research skills, gain insights into a research career at one of the UK's leading universities, and find out if a career in research is for you.

Our research internship scheme is aimed at undergraduate students in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Students will get a chance to work alongside a nursing and midwifery researcher, shadowing them as they carry out research activities on specific projects over a 2-5 day period.

This could include:

  • Scoping a new idea or concept.
  • Researching or reviewing a topic.
  • Helping to organise events.
  • Creating and producing research materials.

On completing this scheme you can apply to have it accredited for the DegreePlus Award by completing a Combined Experience (Formerly Route B) direct application via MyFuture.
