Starting a Business

Students who wish to start their own business usually begin the process by having a 1-2-1 with an Enterprise SU Advisor who will chat to them about their activity and signpost them towards relevant funding and pitching competitions.

Usually throughout the time that they are working on their business, they will start to form a business plan which must be complete by the time they come to apply for Degree Plus via Starting a Business.

Working on their business can include but is not limited to business development work, initial sales strategies, team meetings, digital and traditional marketing activity, and mentorship internally and externally.
