Vasculitis Ireland: Charity Communications Strategy

Vasculitis is a rare disease where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks its own blood vessels. It can cause severe damage if untreated.

Since few Vasculitis patients have contact with other people with the disease, we want to provide reassurance and support from others living with the condition. This helps prevent escalation of anxiety and reduces feelings of isolation to know there are others who manage daily and survive. For the newly diagnosed especially, this can empower them to manage their condition more effectively.

The charity wants to identify medical professionals who manage the disease and, with their help, reach out to other patients living with the condition.
