Campaign SU is a day-long workshop that will guide participants though all the stages of developing and executing a successful campaign to achieve civic change.
These skills are valuable to anyone interested in shaping the society in which they live, especially for those interested in a career in the voluntary, community and public affairs sectors.
Topics covered include:
- Identifying Campaign Outcomes
- Planning a Campaign
- Mobilising Support
- Using Digital (Social) Media
- Using the Press and Broadcast Media
- Influencing and Using Power
- Lobbying for Change
- Evaluating Campaign Success
This workshop is open to all students, but is especially useful to current (and aspiring) student representatives (Course Representatives, Club and Society Committee members, Student Councillors, Schools Representative and Student Officers).
The workshop will last for approximately six hours. Lunch will be provided.
