MBC Histology Suite
What: This is a specialized workshop for QUB science students looking to continue in academia (either a research degree (MSc/MRes/PhD) or apply for a research/technical position. It will be run by researchers that have not only completed the process themselves, but now currently sit on interview/selection panels and can give you invaluable advice on how to improve your applications/CVs/coverletters, giving you the best chance to be successful.
We will cover:
- How to tailor your coverletter for the specific degree/job you want
- Ways to design a clear CV which highlights all of your relevant skills
- Common application mistakes
When: Thursday, January 10th, 2019
9-12 (AM session)
or 1-4 (PM session)
(There will be both morning and afternoon sessions depending on registration)
Where: MBC Computer Suite
Who: This workshop is open to 2nd and 3rd year Biomedical Sciences and Human Biology BSc students and all School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences Master's Students
