An Introduction to International Relations through Video Games

This activity will introduce participants to concepts in International Relations through participation in an all-day game of the popular game (and International Relations simulator) "Civilization VI". Participants will be guided by student facilitators to play as 10-12 'teams' (countries), in a shared game.  At appropriate moments, I.R. issues and concepts will be taught with 5-10 minute 'mini lectures', handouts, and other teaching material delivered by a range of lecturers from the Department of Politics and International Relations, along with student facilitators.
