Mathematics serves as a helpful tool for a wide range of problems arising in physics, engineering, biology, medicine, finance, etc. It can be used in order to deduce information, explain observed phenomena, make predictions, and propose solution strategies.
In this talk several applications will be addressed, including archaeology, weather forecast, and cancer migration.
Are you a mathematician and interested in applications? Or a natural scientist and want to know how mathematical tools can be applied in your area? Then you are welcome!
