Time

10:00AM - 4:00PM

Location

The aim of this course is to introduce the fundamentals of computer programming in a workshop environment where each student will be able to learn by working on an individual computer.

In this course students will program to load in datasets and analyse data. An interesting test case challenge is to use a computer to solve a substitution cypher.

No previous experience of programming or computing is required for this course, but with no previous experience it would be best to sign up for course on Thursday 24th Introduction to Programming I – talking to computers and getting them talk back in C and Friday 25th Introduction to Programming II – let computers take the strain in C as well as this course.

The programming language used here will be C
