Seagate: Storing the World's Digital Content (Student Led)

This event will take place onsite at Seagate, Springtown Industrial Estate, L'Derry, BT480LY
We welcome Queen's University students to our site in Springtown to learn how Seagate fits into the Data Storage Industry Worldwide and to see how our site at Springtown contributes fundamental Technology and Engineering to the production of our hard drives that are used worldwide.
The visit will run from 11am-4pm and will give insight into the typical roles and challenges faced by Seagate Engineers, Research and Development, Facilities and more. Learn how the Industry 4.0 and Big Data will affect us and how Data Analytics can help to shape the industry. Get the chance to talk to us one to one to, ask questions and find out where a career with Seagate will take you.
You will also get the opportunity to meet recent Graduates, our current Interns as well as understand what you’ll get out of an internship at Seagate. Lunch will be catered and we will provide transport to leave from QUB Student’s Union to the site and back to Belfast again at the end of the day. Limited spaces so book soon to avoid disappointment.
