These consultations are for current students (UG and PGT) and graduates for up to two years after graduation.
Two types of consultations are available - 30 minutes to discuss any aspect of your career management or 15 minutes to receive feedback on your CV or LinkedIn profile (please ensure you bring a paper copy of your CV with you to your appointment)
Book via MyFuture -> Book an Appointment.
Please prepare for your appointment by reviewing information on this website before attending e.g.:
How many appointments can I book?
The aim of these consultations is to support you so that you can successfully manage your own career. As a result, students and graduates are limited to no more than 5 appointments per academic year. Most people use only 1 or 2 appointments in any year.
Can’t make it to an appointment?
If you are unable to access an on-campus appointment e.g you are on placement, studying abroad, or a Queen's graduate within the last two years and now working full time, you can use our E-guidance service or Skype appointment. Students and graduates are also restricted to no more that 5 e-guidance/Skype queries per academic year.
Please note it can take up to 5 working days to respond to queries – although most are answered more quickly.
Skype Career Consultation
You can request a Skype appointment by downloading and completing a request form and emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org
NB this option is only open to users specified on the request form. Please read the Procedure for Skype Career Consultations and download an application form from MyFuture. The Service will endeavour to respond to the request within three working days with the decision.
