New Funded PG Cert in Applied Psychology

A new Postgraduate Certificate, Foundations in Applied Psychology Practice, is launching in January 2022, funded by the Department for the Economy in Northern Ireland.

A new postgraduate Psychology programme, co-designed by Queen's University, Ulster University and the Heads of Psychology Services in the HSC Trusts in Northern Ireland is launching in January 2022 with a view to providing students with the skills and knowledge to enter the Psychology workforce in HSC Trusts. 

The programme is fully funded by the Department for the Economy in Northern Ireland and is therefore completely free for students.

The programme will run between January and June 2022 with a time commitment of around 15-20 hours per week. Teaching will be delivered approximately one day per week.

Co-designed with Clinical Psychologists in the NHS and co-delivered by the Schools of Psychology at Queen’s and the University of Ulster, this programme aims to provide Psychology graduates with a foundation to prepare them for employment in the NHS.

Applications are now open, and the deadline has been extended to 2pm on Friday 3rd December.
