Call for Arts, English and Languages students to take part in a new research project

The Careers, Employability and Skills team at Queen’s are looking for students who have just finished first year to take part in a new research project.

Careers, Employability and Skills at Queen’s have launched a new research project designed to improve careers support for Arts, English and Languages (AEL) students.

They are calling for students who have just finished first year in the following courses to take part:

  • English
  • Drama
  • Film
  • Music
  • Or Broadcast Production.

Participating students will need to be available for a 30-45-minute-online chat with lead researcher Emma Lennox about their future career goals. Student feedback will be used to help improve the careers support offered to Arts, English and Languages students at Queen’s.

As a thank you for participating, student volunteers will be give a £20 shopping voucher.

Lead researcher Emma Lennox said: “We are looking for students from a range of subjects. You may have a clear career idea, or you may have none, we are looking for all perspectives.”

“We're genuinely interested in honest feedback, so if your experience this year had been positive, negative or in between, we'd love to hear from you.”
