About the programme

This virtual insight programme provided student exposure to not only our local legal providers but also to some of largest legal firms from across the UK and further afield.

It also provided practical information in relation to the admission criteria and training for the Institute of Professional Legal Studies as well as providing up to date information with regard to the new Solicitors Qualification Exam (SQE) coming into effect in England and Wales.

In addition, students also heard from

  • Found out about summer internships, placements, vacation schemes and training contracts.
  • Got valuable tips from some of the largest law firms in relation to standing out in the competitive legal recruitment market.
  • Gained a realistic insight into the work life balance and career progression within the legal sector.
  • Got to understand the role of the Law Society of NI
The CLIP Programme is now closed for 2021.
