This workshop empowers students to support friends experiencing mental health difficulties, whilst looking after their own wellbeing.
For students, navigating University life can be tricky at times, and we know how important it is for an individual to reach out to their friends in times of need.
We want students to have the knowledge, confidence and skills to support their friends, and feel comfortable confiding in each other.
This 2-hour workshop has been designed by the UK’s student mental health charity, Student Minds.
It will be facilitated by Queen’s Sport – Participation and Wellbeing Manager, Kevin Murray.
