The Lloyds Scholars Programme opens on the 3rd May 2017

Queen's University Belfast has recently signed an agreement with Lloyds Banking Group to participate in the their Lloyds Scholar programme.

Queen's University Belfast has recently signed an agreement with Lloyds Banking Group to participate in the Lloyds Scholar programme this year offering 15 students, from lower income households, the opportunity to become a Lloyds Scholar.

It is a really exciting opportunity designed to reward outstanding academic performance; provide mentoring and internship opportunities; develop employability skills; and encourage involvement within the local community.

 

Successful Scholars will receive:

 An annual bursary of £1,000

 Annual performance related cash awards up to £1,000

 Paid internships

 End of course excellence awards up to £3,000

 A dedicated mentor throughout their studies

 And much more!

 

We have a dedicated, cross-functional working group with representatives from Admissions, CES, DARO, Marketing, Student Finance, Student Recruitment, Students’ Union, and WPU. All are actively promoting this fantastic programme through Offer Holder Events; Targeted Emails; and School Presentations.
