The second of a series of three webinars aimed at helping you to understand the key processes in successful project management, from initiation to delivery.
Following on from “Part 1: Establishing Foundations”, this webinar builds on the previous topics to begin to craft the scope or the outputs of the project. It considers methods for: identifying and managing different expectations; establishing and articulating the rationale or purpose driving a project; and explores methods of defining critical success criteria upon which our work will be judged.
Furthermore, it addresses the challenges of doing this within a setting (such as research) where frequently scope has to be flexible, changeable and the end point sometimes lacks clarity.
By the end of this 2 hour webinar participants will have:
• Considered techniques for defining the scope of a project
• Learned methods for identifying and managing differing project expectations
• Been shown techniques to establish goals and deliverables to guide them through the project execution phase
