This 1-hour online session with Action Mental Health focuses on providing attendees with evidence-based and easy to implement tools to improve their mental health.

Objectives

By the end of this course participants should be able to:

  • Understand the meaning of mental health and mental ill health.
  • Recognise how personality types can influence thinking patterns and stress management.
  • Differentiate stressors based on their level of control, allowing participants to reduce stress levels and prevent burnout.
  • Implement the foundational principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
  • Know how to access support for themselves or for others.
