Background on the Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
The Graduate School at Queen's is working in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) to deliver a tailored qualification Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Management designed to enhance and improve leadership and management skills in the postgraduate population preparing them for the workplace. The qualification is an accredited award which recognises that the learner has undergone significant personal and professional development in strategic leadership at a postgraduate level.
The Graduate School at Queen’s University Belfast gained accreditation in March 2017 as a qualifications provider for the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Queen’s is the first university in the UK to offer this programme as a stand-alone qualification for postgraduate students.
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is the only chartered professional body in the field of management and leadership, and its qualifications are of the highest quality.
