Jillian Robb from Eglinton will graduate from Queen’s today (Thursday 30^th June) with a First Class Honours in BSc Food Quality, Safety and Nutrition with Professional Studies. Jillian has secured a two year graduate scheme in Quality Assurance with Kerry Group starting in August.

Jillian said: “My degree allowed me to gain the knowledge and understanding in relation to food production and consumption, necessary for a career in the sector today.

“Food quality concerns are right at the top of the agenda following on from the recent horsemeat scandal, and I am delighted to have secured a two year placement in Quality Control, which I am passionate about, with Kerry Group.

 “Queen’s has helped me to secure this role with the University’s links with over 3,000 local, national and international companies. This is a great start for me in my career and I can’t wait to get started.”

Jillian will celebrate her graduation with her Mum, Dad, Brother David and boyfriend Neal.
