This information applies only to UNDERGRADUATE awards offered to international students from Pakistan paying the full international tuition fee rate and joining the University in the academic year 2024/25. If there are any questions, we haven't covered please contact us.

Early Confirmation Award

  • What is the Early Confirmation Award?

    The Early Confirmation Award is a £1500 tuition fee discount for new international students who have an unconditional offer and pay tuition fees in full* by the specified deadline.

    *Deduct the £1500 Early Confirmation Award and any other scholarship which has been confirmed by the International Office 

     

  • How do I qualify for the Early Confirmation Award?

    You must comply with all the following conditions by the appropriate deadline:

    • Be a new student enrolling at Queen's University Belfast for the first time
    • Have an unconditional offer
    • Pay your tuition fees in full* by the specified deadline *Tuition fees less the £1500 Early Confirmation Award and any other scholarship which has been confirmed by the International Office 
  • What are the deadlines for the Early Confirmation Award?

    The following deadlines apply:

    • Undergraduate students must pay 90% of their Year 1 fees by 30 June 2024 or within 5 days* of their offer becoming unconditional to avail of the discount, subject to Terms & Conditions*This is to prevent delays in CAS issuance during the peak period.
  • When will I receive my Early Confirmation Award?

    Contact internationalscholarships@qub.ac.uk with your proof of payment and we will credit your discount to your tuition fee account. If you fail to notify internationalscholarships@qub.ac.uk we cannot award your discount.

Pakistan Academic Excellence Award 2024

  • How do I apply for the Pakistan Academic Excellence Award 2024?

    This award is exclusively for students who are a current student or have studied at Beaconhouse Schools in Pakistan.

    Eligible candidates are required to submit an essay of up to 750 words explaining why they want to study at Queen's University Belfast and how this programme will help them fulfil their career aspirations.

    Applicants must provide a letter from Beaconhouse Schools confirming their predicted grades

  • Can I send supporting documents to support my application?

    Applicants must provide a letter from Beaconhouse Schools confirming their predicted grades.

    Please do not send additional references or academic transcripts or any form of supporting documentation with your scholarship application.

    Any documents other than the requested predicted grade letter will be deleted and will not be taken into consideration.

     

     

  • How many awards are there?

    There are 5 awards available.

    Each award offers a discount of £7,500 on your first-year tuition fees.

    The award can be used with the Early Confirmation Award.
