CHANGE THE CONVERSATION

Argue your point with the Literific Debating Society, make a change with Amnesty QUB, or stand up for our planet with Green at Queen's. If politics is more your passion, you'll find Societies from right across the spectrum for you to join here on campus. Or, you could develop your fundraising and campaigning skills with Societies such as Belfast Marrow, Friends of Médecins San Frontières, or Cavaliers in Need (extra bonus: puppy petting days!).

MEDIA AND GAMING

Meet fellow anime and game-lovers at the Dragonslayers Society, and flex those competitive muscles on our all-new Esports team. If you're more of a movie buff, the Film Society is for you! You could even go behind the scenes and become Belfast's next broadcasting star on Queen's Radio, or find your artistic aesthetic at the Photographic Society.

CULTURE AND LANGUAGE

Travel the world... without ever leaving campus! Practice a new language, sample some tasty global cuisine, and immerse yourself in culture at the Spanish and Portuguese Society, the Hellenic Society, and bien sûr our wonderful French Society.

Joining Queen's as an international student? Why not join our regional Societies and meet your cohort from Hong Kong, Malaysia, North America, South AsiaSingapore... and many more! Don't see your home country on the list? The International Students' Society is open to all, or you could start your own with help from the Students' Union!

SPORTING CLUBS

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just hoping to keep active and socialise - we have a Sporting Club for you! Make the most of our state-of-the-art facilities here on campus, and as well as our proximity to fabulous local spots for Sailing, SurfingMountaineering and more.

Maybe you want to keep up a sport you've played at school - like Hockey, Netball, Camogie, or Soccer - or you could try something completely new! How about FloorballUnderwater Hockey or Trampolining?

“Our annual ski trip is often quoted by members as “the best holiday of my life”. If you’re a keen or newbie skier, it’s a chance to develop a new skill, see a beautiful part of the world, and get to know students from across Queen’s.”
