Privy Council Notes:
- 'Act from Ireland about erecting a ballast office respited for the present. That application must be made to lord high admiral for his consent about the bill.' (8 Sept., PC 2/81, p. 445). Yet the bill was approved on 24 Sept.

Recommends public bills, 'believing them to be consistent with the dependence of this kingdom on the crown of Great Britain. And if in anything they differ from the laws and customs of England, it is in cases that require a peculiar remedy and proper for the circumstances of this country...'.
