Title For the more effectual preventing the pernicious practice of burning land.
Variant Title(s) To explain and amend an act passed in the 17th year of his late majesty King GeorgeĀ II entitled an act to prevent the pernicious practice of burning land, and for the more effectual destroying of vermin, which act, as to such part thereof as relates to the burning of land, by an act made in the 21st year of the reign of his late majesty entitled an act for reviving, continuing and amending several temporary statutes was continued until the 29th of September 1760, and from thence to the end of the next session of parliament, and as to such part thereof as relates to the burning of land, was, by an act passed last session of parliament entitled an act for reviving, continuing and amending several temporary statutes, and for other purposes therein mentioned with several amendments, made perpetual.
