Queen’s University was established in 1845. Student Wellbeing are asking all new students to take part in the ‘1845 Challenge’ to support your transition to University. We challenge you to complete 18 tasks over a 45 day period – and by taking part you have an opportunity to win some great prizes!
The tasks in the ‘1845 Challenge’ will prepare you for university and encourage you to take steps to manage your wellbeing. We have based the activities around the ‘Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing’ Initiative (Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Give and Take Notice).
Knowing how to manage your wellbeing and look after yourself will better prepare you for any personal or academic difficulties you may face. There are a wide range of support services available to you at the Student Guidance Centre in addition to your University School. Just remember – if you need help, ask for it!
