800x533 Connect

CONNECT MONDAY is all about meeting new people!

Connect Monday

Look out for Student Wellbeing delivering a “Consent Camp” on the front lawn (lawn beside the Whitla Hall & Main Lanyon building)

  • Inflatables and other games
  • Free prizes, merchandise and competitions!
  • Free BBQ food
  • Consent Conversations
  • Opportunity to network with Wellbeing staff and other new students

During Welcome & Induction you will meet a lot of people. You will meet staff within your School and other students on your course. This week it's important to connect with others, and hopefully build friendships that will last through your student journey and beyond. Although it may seem daunting, many new students feel the same. Our events are designed to make it easy for you to talk with students and staff. The consent camp will be a good opportunity to have a bit of fun and talk about the issue of consent in a safe way. We hope you have some free time on your School timetable to come down and chat with us.

We hope you are able to call to try our Mindfulness taster sessions.
